VERB EXHIBITION AND LAUNCH IN AUSTRALIA

October 21st, 2010

On Friday 24 September, Verb officially launched in Australia with the “Don’t Push Mong” exhibition at the City Walk Gallery in Canberra. The exhibition featured the Verb series of artworks by South African artists Alice Edy, Kronk, Bruce Mackay, Wesley van Eeden, Jordan Metcalf, Black Koki, Theory One, Bison, Chemistry101, Christian Mugnai, Louis Minaar and 351073. These works were shown alongside other Australian skateboarding photographers and artists. The show was a great success, with tons of people coming in to check of the fresh styles.

There will be another Verb exhibition at the China Height in Sydney in December. This is the gallery where Spike Jonze exhibited his Wild Things show for Girl Skateboards, it’s a great space and we’re looking forward to making it a great show! Many thanks to Tim at Yo Yo Distribution, The Skateboarder’s Journal, Half Arsed, Trilogy and Braddon Cellars for their support.
